The single shipment policy

The guarantee covered in this policy is extended to include preshipment risk . This policy is designed for tailored made products where the exporter cannot resell the products to another buyer due to special specifications , the exporter in this respect is covered against bankruptcy of the buyer if private sector or contract frustration in case of public buyers and political risks .
The company indemnifies the exporter for the losses incurred before shipment in the form of direct expenses related to the manufacturing costs after the resale of the finished goods and work in progress .
The indemnity portion is 80% of the total loss whether pre or post shipment .
